The Science Of Skincare

I have always loved Skincare, as a Child and now as an Adult.

I am intrigued by Skincare, Aesthetics and Topical Actives so it was no surprise that my Life took the turn it did. 

As a Cosmetic Scientist and Medical Aesthetician who also hapens to be a Cosmetic Formulator, My work has a certain kind of Synergy that many can only dream of. My knowlege of Cosmetic Science blends well with my job as a Cosmetic Formulator as I know the actives to look out for, those that pair well with each other, at what PH to achieve their Optimal Efficiency and how to merge all of this information into a product that just works for your skin. Let's not forget that as a Medical Aesthetician, one of my jobs is to recommend products with Active ingredients designed to treat skin conditions which I then draft! I know! I am incredibly lucky!

At the Science of Skincare, I hope to share all of this with you. The inner ramblings of my overactive mind, all of the useful and practical information and tips i run into while performing procedures, developing a formula or even drafting a routine and how all of this affects your skin as a person of Color.

Yes, my Major focus is skin of color and finding solutions that authentically cater to our unique problems.
